Keep up the good work bro!! Just wanted to let you know that when "Lil Stain" made that reference to "Willie the Squid" on BET... he was referring to "Willie the Kid"... out of DJ Drama's camp. Willie dropped a single earlier this week, throwing a couple of jabs back at 'ill Stain.
for real? what beef weezy* got w/ willie the kid? arent weezy* & drama cool too? i guess so cuz i was wondering why he would call gillie, willie...
The only thing I know is that Wayne was supposedly the one who sold the Drama camp out during that big bust. Wayne was upset just prior to that because he complained he didn't receive enough royalties from the sales of CD's that he and Drama were puttin out at that time.
As you may know... Willie belongs to the Drama camp and the confiscation of material probably slowed down any release he was going to put out. This is all speculation, but I'm guessing somewhere/somehow Willie must've said something first, because Wayne clearly states in his BET diss that he has no time to address "willie the squid".
So WTK fired right back. Haven't heard any more about it since.
