He looked quite beat up and apathetic… Brooke Hogan’s (Hulk Hogan’s daughter) new video featuring Paul Wall is silly to say the least. You have an over weight, grill infested gimmick acting/singing in one, timid pose, while an 18 year old moves around the stage, somehow managing to dance with that horse frame of a body… Sean Paul has managed to do it again: now with “Give It Up To Me”, the same dance video with his all too familiar Billy Blanks Taebo dance move. Nobody’s here for a damn work out Sean the Paul and I don’t speak pon de river jibberish… Cassie, the up and coming young seductress, has a video for her “Me&You” single, has there ever been a lower budget for a video before?… R&B Singles have taken over the past few weeks with remixes galore. Cassie’s “Me&You RMX” with Diddy & Yung Joc adds some much needed bass and punch to kick the song into a listenable format “I want to rock your bell, promise I wont tell”… Nelly Furtado’s songs have seen a spike in interest as Lil’ Wayne gives some sugar on “Maneater RMX” and Rick Ross opens and proudly boasts, “I licked her neck and she came” on “Promiscuous Girl RMX”… More from under performing rapper Slim Thug as he’s done more successful R&B shit than his own, odd? Can’t say, though, it says something about him. He drops on Kelis’ “Bossy” stating he needs a boss chick and even a white kid could rap his lines for him – too predictable… Rapper Joe Budden surprises us w/ remixes of Neyo’s “Sexy Love”, which reminds me of Richie’s “All Night Long” and GB’s “Crazy”… Yung Joc comes back with “I Know U See it,” a predictable, talking out of his ass Joc single… There’s a decent mash-up w/ Rihanna’s “Unfaithful” infused a verse T.I.’s “What U Know”… Ali & Gipp have a song that will make any “move their booty to the beat” with “Go Head”… Only to obtain snippets of a song featuring both Jadakiss & Fat Joe, Paris Hilton’s “Fighting Over Me” is an odd trio that trips you out every time you hear it… Months ago Kiotti, a rapper by trade (“I’m bully in your panties, I beat it up!”), seems to need that club airplay has “The Phone Song (Minute Plan)”. The dialing of the phone may annoy some, but it is addictive in a good way… More from Kiotti as he wants to “Play House With You” over the DC’s Cater to Me beat, “(sniff, sniff) so glad you don’t stink, dripping wet like a leaky faucet when my penis parking up in that pink”… Janet Jackson calls on Nelly on “Call On Me” for a laid back summer jam… Janet’s boy toy JD has been making hits again with the “Say Something RMX” w/ DFB, a DFB mash-up of “Lean on Me” with the vocals of “Lean w/ it, Rock w/ it” and the best jam of the summer: “Torn RMX” w/ LeToya Lucket, Mike Jones & Rick Ross. Jones’ seems “to be outta here”; Ross claims to “met her bout a month ago, south beach bungalow” as the bass line dropped by JD makes this a classic.
