Papoose to Release Latest Mixtape “I Ain’t Coming Out Like That”
Papoose, the hottest rap mixtape artist for the past few years, has now been signed to a major record label, Jive. Well, this happened last summer, more than 8 months ago. He supposedly got a 1.5 million dollar deal. He’s released two mixtapes since then but continues to make inroads at releasing his first major release, “Nacirema Dream”. It is supposed to come any day now…
Papoose, on the Hot 97 yesterday said, “I know people waiting for me to teach them. I will be dropping knowledge soon.” Many are waitng for the fourth installment of “Law Library” where he, amazingly, drops “street knowledge” by rhyming about laws and crimes. “The Nacirema Dream is coming yall! It’s gonna be hot. Hip Hop will be back in full service. But first I thought it’d be nice, you know, for the fans, to get a little of me before the album. Give a treat, “Dog don’t eat ‘nless it get a treat” [DJ Kay Slay chimes in “Scooby Snacks”]. Yeah, Slay, that track is gonna be off the chain, it’s gonna bring the NY back to the C. “Scooby Snacks” is coming, be ready. We’ll give ‘em a lesson like theys in school. My mixtape before the album is called, “I Ain’t Coming Out Like That”. It’s called that cuz I aint coming out like that, you know, I aint giving them just the album. And little do they know “I Ain’t Coming Out Like That” is actually the mixtape before the mixtape, before the mixtape, before the album. Rewind that! They need to listen to me before then or else no one’s gonna feel me! You know how I come.” Asked what more could be heard from him that hasn’t on his upcoming mixtapes, “We got this joint called “Slap that Ass, Hoe!” and that’s a mockery of all these club joints bangin in the club. Shit’s just crazy.” Asked why it’s taking so long for the album Papoose responded, “We tryna get Slay [DJ Kay Slay] in the booth. He gonna just wreck it, I swear. Literally!”
Many fans are loathing to hear yet another mixtape from Papoose. Ardent Papoose supporter, Wes Wattsson madly states, “Man, why Pap gotta do that [He mumbles as his hand is formed like a gun and is pointing up and down towards the ground]. I bet he can’t put a single together, always claiming he’s got “more beats than an MP” or “more wax than a candle”. I love Pap, I know every fucking lyric of his! I’m just tired of hear the same ass mixtape full of the same ass sounding songs. Stop it. You’ve got like a catalog of 20 mixtapes full of 250 plus songs. Drop already!”
