Through the Sieve: Decipering the Underground

I decided to veer from the regular Through the Sieve and do a post on some underground material. B/c if you're coming up, who is going to listen to you? Or give you the time of day? I surely wont, unless you force it on me. But I try my best to be open minded, you never know what you'll find. I found some artists I like and follow now b/c I gave some unknown a listen or randomly stumbled upon them. I tried my best to listen to all of these, I would urge you to do the same. Most of these are Southern, so it goes without saying the lyrical ability of these songs are... um, on the back of a milk carton. Yeah, MISSING! But some of them are good. Remember most of these cats are rolling of shotty production and, I assume, are young; give them room to grow. The bold are ones I recommend and for the most part, the lower you go on the list, the worse it gets (the last 10 or so I haven't listened to, I got a little burnt out). Just give em a listen; do it at your own risk. If you're feeling any of them, shit post a comment and MySpace em.
